Online Medical Weight Loss in Utah
Provider-led weight care for Utah adults, built on your labs and your history instead of a five-question quiz.
What it is
Medical weight management combines lab work, a clinical evaluation, nutrition and activity changes and, when appropriate, prescription medication. Guidelines generally reserve prescription weight-management medication for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.
Fortem Health offers weight care to adults located in Utah. Your provider reviews your labs and history on a live video visit and decides whether a prescription is right for you, and which one. If one is prescribed, a licensed pharmacy fills it, ships it and bills you directly. Your care team follows your progress and labs over time.

Read this before you begin
- Prescription weight-management medications commonly cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, especially when starting or raising a dose.
- Some carry warnings about pancreatitis, gallbladder problems and, for certain medicines, thyroid tumors. Your provider reviews which warnings apply to you.
- They are not for use during pregnancy. Tell your provider if you are pregnant or planning to be.
- If you take medication for diabetes, your provider needs to know because of the risk of low blood sugar.
- Fast weight loss can also reduce muscle. Protein intake and strength training matter throughout treatment.
This is not a complete list of side effects, warnings, or interactions. Your provider will review your full history before prescribing and will provide complete medication information with any prescription. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911.
